He’s painting a pretty happy face on the humiliation of the Soros foundation revolution humiliation in Georgia. But why? Who is Drezner, or more specifically who paid for his education and groomed his successful career as a pop economist foreign policy spokesman:

I've received fellowships from the German Marshall Fund of the United States , Council on Foreign Relations and Harvard University's Olin Center for Strategic Studies ” from Who the hell is Daniel W. Drezner?

So he was basically educated by Foreign Policy Propaganda Fronts with strong ties to the UK-EU and NATO, am I exaggerating? Lets examine his German Marshall Fund Board of Trustees:

Okay so Drezner is a product of his education, he’s sucked up to the elite NATO foreign policy criminals like Albright, Kissinger, and Soros, and that’s paid off for him. So we should read him to understand their world view, or more accurately, to understand what they want us to think about the world. This is to suggest that his ideas are derivative, he is a successful conformist to their method of communicating values, that is the values of Winston Lord, and the America China Forum:

So the NATO-EU-USA foreign policy establishment works hand in hand with the economic interests profiting from slave labor in China, and incidentally receives much of their funding from them, so consequently Drezner had his education paid indirectly by whom? On the US China Council Board we find the Cohen group again::

[ former national security advisor works for China?], McLarty Associates [Clinton foreign policy again?], The Scowcroft Group [Another national security advisor with ties to the Caspian?]

Wow, its like , what do you do after you are National Security advisor or Secretary of State, or US Trade Representative, except go work for the Chi-Coms helping them sell stuff through Wal-Mart, although now they’re going high tech, avionics, aerospace, automobiles, since they have a competitive advantage, cheap labor, slave conditions, no freedom of speech or freedom for labor to organize, all the good things that a Council On Foreign Relations education makes you really want to support after you leave the government.

So Drezner is a good source on China maybe, or what the China lovers would have us think about Europe running the world with China-India Chindia, while the rest of the world works in Wal-Mart malls or BP service stations. It’s a great future. And Drezner will play his part, maybe all the way to Secretary of State of a smaller, indebted, shrunken malaise filled Jimmy Carter America of the future. Then he can retire and work for the Chinese multinationals as a junior partner at the Cohen group.

In the meantime, I’d like to see Drezner write on the political economy, or institutional economics, or evolutionary economics of organization, of foreign policy think tanks funded by BP-Shell and the friends of China. And how these same companies are operating within the Algerian-Caspian connection in Foreign Influence-Corruption councils employing ex- intelligence, military, and narcotics personnel. This is especially interesting since they’ve been involved in some of the most heinous counterinsurgency pseudo-operations ever seen, most Recently in Africa and now actively on the borders of Russia (once again).. But luckily they also fund humanitarian groups to help negotiate good outcomes like the International Rescue Committee, the Soros Foundations, and the Sir Richard Armitage International Crisis Group.. :)

BP-SHELL MERCENARY OPERATIONS IN AFRICA

“One of these security companies is Defense Systems Limited (DSL). DSL is run by two ex-Special Air Service commandos out of London offices, across the street from Buckingham Palace. Their clients include petrochemical companies, multinational banks, embassies, nongovernmental organizations, and national and international organiza-tions. One of DSL’s biggest contracts is with Mark Heathcote, a former M16 (British equivalent of the CIA) officer who ran operations in Argentina during the Falklands War. Heathcote is now the chief of security for British Petroleum (BP). In 1996, DSL sent a group of British personnel to train Colombian Police on BP-owned rigs. Training included lethal-weapons handling, sniper fire, and close quarter combat.

Another firm, Executive Outcomes, also offers mercenary armies to multinationals. Executive Outcomes fielded a private mercenary army in Angola in 1993, and offers high-tech security forces to corporations all over the world. In Nigeria, the Anglo-Dutch multinational Shell corporation has been accused of causing major pollution in the Niger Delta for the last 38 years. Shell directly employs an elite detachment of Nigerian police to protect its own interests. Numerous demonstrators have been beaten and executed because of Shell operations in Nigeria. “

The elite domination of the media and marginalization of dissidents that results from the operation of these filters occurs so naturally that media news people, frequently operating with complete integrity and goodwill, are able to convince themselves that they choose and interpret the news ‘objectively’ and on the basis of professional news values. (Herman and Chomsky, 1988: 2)

The PM does not assume that newsroom workers routinely make conscious decisions to align themselves with the interests of dominant elites.13 Rather, it assumes that elite media recruit right-minded personnel to fill staff positions. Its overarching concern with the broader issue of social class firmly distinguishes the PM from the gate-keeper model.

Those who choose to conform, hence to remain within the system, will soon find that they internalize the beliefs and attitudes that they express and that shape their work; it is a rare individual who can believe one thing and say another on a regular basis. (Chomsky, cited in Rai, 1995: 44)

Thus, the PM emphasizes that media personnel internalize beliefs and attitudes which in turn influences media performance. This is a social psychological argument that is presumed but not directly tested by the PM. It was echoed by one of the journalists I interviewed in my research

The universities, for example, are not independent institutions. There may be independent people scattered around in them but that is true of the media as well. And it’s generally true of corporations. It’s true of Fascist states, for that matter. But the institution itself is parasitic. It’s dependent on outside sources of support and those sources of support, such as private wealth, big corporations with grants, and the government (which is so closely interlinked with corporate power you can barely distinguish them), they are essentially what the universities are in the middle of. People within them, who don’t adjust to that structure, who don’t accept it and internalize it (you can’t really work with it unless you internalize it, and believe it); people who don’t do that are likely to be weeded out along the way

,[Its] highly geared to rewarding conformity and obedience; if you don’t do that, you are a troublemaker. So, it is kind of a filtering device which ends up with people who really honestly (they aren’t lying) internalize the framework of belief and attitudes of the surrounding power system

When you critique the media and you say, look, here is what Anthony Lewis or somebody else is writing, they get very angry. They say, quite correctly, "nobody ever tells me what to write. I write anything I like. All this business about pressures and constraints is nonsense because I’m never under any pressure." Which is completely true, but the point is that they wouldn’t be there unless they had already demonstrated that nobody has to tell them what to write because they are going say the right thing. If they had started off at the Metro desk, or something, and had pursued the wrong kind of stories, they never would have made it to the positions where they can now say anything they like. The same is mostly true of university faculty in the more ideological disciplines. They have been through the socialization system.
